Xanthus has been involved in many utility automation and integration projects over the years. Some of the more recent projects include:
- Smart Grid projects involving automation of utility systems, AMI systems, and Home Automation Networks
- Cyber security projects to develop security requirements, identify potential cyber security technologies and methodologies, and develop international standards to address these cyber security needs
- Information standards projects to develop specifications for communications, networking, and semantic models
- Automation of power systems, including distribution automation, distributed energy resources, substation automation, bulk power market operations, wireless systems, energy management systems, and SCADA systems.
