Following
identification of performance problems, this service helps to fix performance
problems, or support meeting performance SLAs, by means of system/network
reconfiguration, traffic/message rerouting, parameter tuning, resource
allocation, and resource re-adjustment. For example, an application which is
not completing in time required, may be ran on a
different platform or given higher priority on an existing platform. Similar to
fault correction, performance correction action need to be followed by testing
to verify that the corrective action was effective.
