Policy:
The developed policy for credential renewal and revocation will have an impact
on availability. If an in-use credential is revoked/deprecated incorrectly, then information exchange
will not be able to be achieved, thus impacting availability. Thus, policy
development must be particularly careful in only revoking the credentials for
appropriate reasons.
However, the actual revocation, based upon
stolen or compromised credentials will have an impact on availability. Thus the
time required to renew, create, or deploy new credentials needs to be factored
